MHL Decal
Creating a Pressure-Sensitive Decal Using a Thermal Film
MHL Decal UV is a double-sided adhesive coated on one side with 2.0 mil polyethylene
co-extruded copolymer adhesive and coated on the other side with 1.0 mil pressure-sensitive
solvent acrylic adhesive. Apolyester release liner protects the pressure-sensitive adhesive.
SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS: Use MHL Decal to encapsulate plain paper copies, xerographic and inkjet
graphics in combination with a conventional encapsulation film. If the graphic is positioned facing the pressure-
sensitive adhesive, the graphic can be mounted on a clear substrate such as glass, acrylic, polycarbonate, etc.
Alternatively, if the encapsulated graphic is mounted facing away from the pressure-sensitive adhesive it can be
mounted onto conventional backing substrates.
