Interlam Pressure-Sensitive (Cold) Overlaminating Films
Pressure-sensitive overlaminating filmsare also called “cold”
films because they do not require heat for activation. The adhesive
(either solvent or aqueous based) is protected by a moisture-stable
release liner. The base films consist of either PVC (vinyl) (calen-
dared or cast), polyester, polycarbonate, polypropylene or Tedlar®.
Benefits of pressure-sensitive films are: wide variety of finishes,
sizes and prices, adhesion to virtually all print surfaces.
