Large Shoe Tacking Iron

This special tool is primarily used for tacking dry mounting tissue to the back of a print and then to a substrate. The tacking process keeps work from shifting prior to insertion into the press. The Tacking Iron is thermostatically adjustable.

Tip: Tack print and dry mount tissue and dry-mount tissue and mount board only once. Multiple tacking can result in the adhesive creasing. Tack through a small piece of release paper/film to avoid adhesive build-up on your tacking iron. Always keep the shoe clean of adhesive residue.
