Digital printmaking pricing always varies depending on the project that an artist\/photographer is working on and the time frame in which the prints need to be done. The price list below is to serve as a basic guide to Booksmart Studio’s Canon digital printing pricing. Please contact us for an exact quote on your particular project. Each digital printmaking project is traditionally broken down to three stages: acquiring the digital file, proofing, and printing.<\/p>\n

Proofing<\/h2><\/span>

Whether you are printing an edition of prints or just an exhibition, we always print proofs first. The proofs are a nominal charge and are always produced on the printer and substrate you will be printing on. The proofs can either be a clip test (full resolution & not the full image) or a reduced in size proof. Our clients work in different ways and that is why we offer the two types of proofs depending on what helps you judge your print quality better.<\/p>\n

Proofs are priced by the paper grade you are printing on. If you are unsure of the paper grade, please be sure to look at our page dedicated to the substrate classifications which\u00a0list of all the papers we utilize on a daily basis. If a paper\/substrate is not listed it does not mean we will not work with the substrate,, but rather we will have to order it in and may require a minimum amount of prints.<\/p>\n
